Monday 17 August 2026 Ten terms Gumroad public listings

This week’s 10

We opened public Gumroad pages for eight requested terms, plus two adjacent ones the search kept surfacing. Ratings, prices, and sales below were read on those pages. If a number is missing, we could not verify it.

How to read this

A rating on a Gumroad listing is left by a buyer. We treat it as one purchase we can see. Sales and download counts are recorded only when the listing prints them. Free and pay-what-you-want products count as demand of a weaker kind — someone downloaded, not necessarily someone paid a fixed price.

Discover search is messy. A writing app ranked for “claude code.” A screen ruler ranked for “cursor rules.” Those cards were dropped. Third-party recaps were not used as counts.

Raw notes: data/week-1.json. Life planner and second brain reuse listings already counted under notion template. Do not add those three rows into one total.

notion template

This is the thickest sample of the week. One $18 Notion planner holds 627 five-star ratings. A $29 course-builder template has 12. Free and pay-what-you-want templates add another 335 ratings and, on one watchlist, 3,199 downloads. People buy here. They also give things away. A new generic “Notion template” still has to stand next to products that already have hundreds of ratings.

Buyers are here. They are concentrated. The n8n Workflow Generator shows 2,805 sales and 36 ratings at $1+. A $27 seller-ops bundle is listed with a full page and no public rating count. Other packs appear in search at $15–$49; we did not confirm their ratings this week. Go, with a caveat: a new paid pack is walking into a market that already trained buyers on a dollar price.

Included because Discover keeps serving the same $18 Dream Life Planner for planner-shaped queries. The 627 ratings are the same 627 as in the Notion row. Go for paid life-planner demand. Do not treat this as a second, independent pile of buyers.

second brain

245 ratings is not nothing. They sit on a pay-what-you-want second-brain template. That is proof people take the file. It is not proof they will pay $19 or $49 for the next one. A third-party recap of 27,700 sales on a different second-brain product was not confirmed on a live page this week, so it is out.

A 2021 B2B course still shows 25 five-star ratings at $27. A newer $37 bundle is listed with no ratings on the page. Discover also ranked a 497-rating X/Twitter business guide for this query; that is the wrong product, so it is excluded. Buyers exist. The first page is not thick. Caution, not empty.

claude code

The term is live. Guides, skill kits, and starter folders are listed between $5 and $15. One implementation guide shows 14 sales and no ratings. The other three pages showed price only. Discover’s top card for the query was ZimmWriter (168 ratings), a writing app, not a Claude Code product. Supply is ahead of public proof. Caution.

The copy on these pages promises six figures. The public buyer count does not. One $17 guide has five five-star ratings. A $69.99 ebook and a $10.85 course showed no ratings. A Discover card for another 5-rating product was not opened, so it stays unverified. People are selling the dream. We can verify five buyers.

UnverifiedRating totals

GoodNotes and Notability planners are listed in a tight $8–$13 band. That is supply we can see. The rating totals we could not. Two promising pages timed out or returned almost no body. Search snippets mentioned 59 ratings and 2 ratings on other planners; those figures were not confirmed on a live page, so they are out. Third-party tables that cite thousands of products and hundreds of ratings are also out. Caution: the niche is not empty. This week’s scan is incomplete on the demand side.

Skipped as unverified: emmastudies free monthly planner (snippet: 59 ratings; fetch timed out); iplannerlife bundle (snippet: 2 ratings; thin fetch); Marketsy and DEV Community recaps.

cursor rules

2Listings opened
$1 / $13+Prices seen

Rules packs exist. A $1 cross-tool starter and a $13+ Cursor setup kit both have complete sales pages and no public ratings. Discover’s visible card for the query was Screen Ruler Pro (8 ratings) — a measuring utility, not an IDE rules file. Early market. Not a no-go on supply. Not a go on buyers.

excel dashboard

No-go
0Verified ratings
0Visible sales
3Listings opened
$14.99 / $29+Prices seen

Seller trackers and bookkeeping dashboards are listed at $15 and $29+. None of the Excel-dashboard pages we opened printed a rating or a sales count. A Google Sheets AI helper with 18 ratings was kept out of this term — wrong product. No-go means we could not see buyers, not that the category has zero products. Re-run before anyone spends a month building a dashboard on a hunch.

What this week does not claim

We did not get a reliable product-count for any Discover search. The pages are client-rendered and often returned a single card. So this report is a listing sample, not a census.

We did not use anyone else’s spreadsheet of “459 ratings across the top 8.” If we could not open the page, the number is not here.

Three of the ten terms share listings. Notion template is the parent. Life planner and second brain are cuts of the same market.
